Drain

the hexagon room

From the outflow the drain pops into a fairly large and slightly flooded hexagon shaped room with six offshoots. Two of the offshoots lead towards the outflow, the small ground level pipe and pipe backed up with sand lead to a grille room further upstream. The pipe next to the U shaped pipe leads east to a small grille before shrinking down.

heads upstream
leads to outflow
bigger pipe leads to grilles

The U shaped offshoot doesn't really have much interesting going on. The bigger offshoot next to it goes to a series of small grille rooms.

Both options for the upstream pipes are kinda shit, one is muddy and the other is low. Both connect shortly upstream at a grille room.

Sometime in the 2000s this drain got an upgrade and an extention was built, this is what is down the right pipe leading upstream. The original drain is the pipe on the left and it goes on for about 800m at 1.5m before coming to the inflow.

The new section of the drain is where all the real fun is. There are several waterfalls before the drain comes to a series of grille rooms before shrinking.

upstream
downstream

This is the chamber of dangerous secrets, the first of the 5 waterfalls. Much like the others it features a knee deep pit of water.

The next chamber contains a small 1m offshoot and a large grille. A piece of the grille has fallen in so you dont have to get too wet for this one. The fallen grille also makes for a good legde to go down the side pipe.

There is a small dam wall in a room that connects the offshoot to another 1m pipe that leads to another outflow. The outflow here could be usable if you are willing to go through the pit of shit.

The next chamber is a little bit more tricky with some spidermanning required to go further upstream. Much like the other chambers this one also has a knee deep pit of water.

The next two chambers are more or less the same with not much going on. The last one does feature a metal ladder instead of the yellow rungs.

After the waterfalls the drain opens up to a collection of grilles and small offshoots. Sadly there are no easy exits here so you may have to circle back to get out.
