One saturday afternoon the gang of us toads gathered for an expedition to Foxhole and the Falls. While Foxhole might not top the list of interesting drains, the inflow does make the trip out here worth it, that and how close it is to The falls.

inflow from outside

Easily the best part of foxhole was the inflow at the end. The stairs and the light coming in made for some really good photos but apart from that this drain doesnt have much going for it. We made our way up the creek to The Falls next, a drain that boasts some of the most wacky waterfalls in Melbourne.

It starts with a 1.6m RCP pipe and some shallow stairs that lead up to the first waterfall, and from there a small section of RCP until youre at the second waterfall. This one has the rungs on the further side and then two more going towards the top RCP section. There is a small junction at the top but the rest of the drain is pretty featureless.

Past the junction room the drain continues gunbarrel straight for about 2kms, I havent been up it all but I doubt there is much to see up there. The falls is a good but short drain. Im a sucker for waterfalls so I reckon this was a real fun one.
